Reslona Dispatch
Editorial Process

Editorial Standards

Reslona Dispatch operates under the following editorial principles: articles are reviewed by at least one second editor before publication, sources are cited where appropriate, corrections are noted publicly, and writers disclose any commercial relationships that could influence their selection of subject matter.

01 — Foundation

A precise, evidence-informed approach to everyday wellness content

The editorial focus of Reslona Dispatch centres on the documented relationship between sleep quality and the variables that govern body composition: caloric regulation, metabolic rate at rest, appetite-signalling accuracy, and the quality of discretionary choices made in a fatigued state.

This is a domain with a substantial published research base, and the publication draws on that base systematically. Articles are grounded in peer-reviewed nutritional and sleep science research, published primarily in journals indexed within PubMed and the British Wellness Journal portfolio. Where findings are contested or preliminary, that status is stated plainly in the body of the article.

Articles published on Reslona Dispatch are editorial in nature and reflect the writers' observations on everyday wellness practices. The content is not intended as professional guidance, nor as guidance for the management of any specific condition. Readers with specific concerns about their daily routines are encouraged to speak with a qualified wellness professional.

02 — Publication Process
STEP 01

Source Identification

Each article begins with a structured review of the available published research on the chosen topic. Writers are required to identify a minimum of three peer-reviewed sources before drafting begins. Sources are logged in the editorial tracking system with their publication date, journal name, and DOI where available.

For topics related to circadian biology and appetite regulation, the editorial team maintains a standing reference list updated quarterly against new publications in Chronobiology International, Sleep Wellness Practice Reviews, and the International Journal of Obesity.

STEP 02

Drafting and Scope Review

Drafts are assessed against three scope criteria before moving to the second-editor stage: Does the article stay within the publication's defined scope of everyday wellness habits and rest architecture? Does it make any claims that exceed what the cited sources support? Does it use language that could be interpreted as guidance for the management of a specific condition?

Articles that fail any scope criterion are returned to the writer with specific revision notes. The revision-and-resubmission cycle can occur up to twice before an article is declined.

STEP 03

Second-Editor Review

Every article that passes scope review is read by a second editor whose role is source verification, not copy-editing. The second editor checks that each factual claim in the article can be traced directly to one of the listed sources, that no claim is overstated relative to the source's findings, and that the overall framing is accurate.

Discrepancies identified by the second editor are logged and resolved before publication. The resolution notes are retained in the article's editorial file.

STEP 04

Disclosure Check

Writers complete a short disclosure questionnaire before each article is published. The questionnaire asks whether the writer has a commercial relationship with any brand, product, or service mentioned in the article, whether the writer received complimentary access to any product referenced, and whether the article was commissioned by a third party.

Disclosed relationships are noted in the article footer. Undisclosed relationships discovered after publication result in a correction notice and a review of other articles by the same writer.

STEP 05

Publication and Indexing

Approved articles are published with full source citations in the body text. Each article carries a publication date and, where subsequently revised, a revision date. The article's reading time is calculated at 200 words per minute for body text, rounded to the nearest minute.

Articles are indexed by topic category in the publication's internal reference system to allow the editorial team to track coverage balance across the thematic areas of sleep architecture, energy balance, circadian rhythm, and habit formation.

STEP 06

Corrections and Updates

Corrections are handled via a public correction log. When a factual error is confirmed, the original text is retained with a visible strikethrough, the corrected text is inserted immediately below, and a correction note is appended to the article with the date of correction.

Readers who identify potential errors are encouraged to contact the editorial office directly. Correction requests are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within five working days.

03 — Sourcing Standards

How research is selected and applied

Content published by Reslona Dispatch is selected based on published nutritional research and undergoes independent batch verification for quality and labelling accuracy. The editorial team applies a hierarchy of source types when assessing the research basis for any given claim.

Systematic reviews and meta-analyses are treated as the highest-weight source type. Randomised controlled trials are used for specific mechanistic claims. Observational studies are used only to describe patterns and associations — never to establish causal relationships in article copy.

Single-study findings are not reported as settled conclusions. When an article draws on a single study, this is stated explicitly. The publication does not report preliminary findings from pre-print servers as established research.

04 — Independence Statement

Commercial independence and conflict of interest

Reslona Dispatch is an independent editorial publication focused on everyday wellness practices. The publication is not affiliated with any commercial, governmental, or institutional body.

Reslona Dispatch does not accept advertising revenue, sponsored content, affiliate arrangements, or product placement fees. The editorial budget is derived solely from the publication's operating structure and does not depend on the commercial outcomes of any third party.

This independence is the foundation of the publication's sourcing integrity. Writers are not assigned to articles where a commercial relationship could create a conflict of interest. The editorial team reviews this independence criteria at each publication cycle.

06 — Frequently Asked

Topic selection is guided by the intersection of published research activity and practical relevance to readers managing their body composition through sleep-centred habit changes. Topics with strong recent publication activity in indexed journals take priority. The editorial team also considers reader correspondence and field observations submitted via the contact form when assessing under-covered areas.

Formal credentials are not a requirement for contributing to Reslona Dispatch, but demonstrated familiarity with the research base and a track record of accurate, non-sensationalised writing are. Guest contributors are assessed on the quality and accuracy of a trial piece before being commissioned for further work. The second-editor review process applies equally to all writers regardless of background.

Articles identified as containing information superseded by later published research are queued for revision review. The revision process follows the same second-editor standard as original publication. Revised articles display both the original publication date and the revision date. Readers may flag articles for revision consideration via the contact form.

The publication does not enter into commercial arrangements with wellness brands, supplement companies, coaching services, or any entity with a financial interest in the subject matter covered. Writers who hold professional roles as wellness coaches or nutrition professionals may contribute, provided their articles are written in an editorial rather than a promotional capacity and their professional affiliation is disclosed.

Anecdotal accounts — including coach field observations and reader-submitted field notes — may be used as illustrative context within articles, provided they are clearly framed as individual accounts rather than generalisable findings. They may not be used as the primary evidence base for a claim. Every claim that goes beyond illustration must be traceable to a published source.
